Well mostly, yes, the best way to train for running fast is to run. But on the side, I drink coffee with some of my favorite people and best friends, do hours of drills and strengthening, get the occasional massage, cross train (to be discussed), sometimes face the reality that is injury, and stay caffeinated the whole way through. Welcome to the journey!
Injury is not fun. It is unannounced and unfair, but it is not ultimate.
